Review your premium ticket change options
Speak with BookMyReservations about eligibility, available replacement flights and any applicable charges. We are an independent agency, not the airline.
Call BookMyReservationsIdentify the Flagship Business itinerary
Flagship Business is offered on select American Airlines flights. Verify the operating carrier, aircraft and actual cabin for every segment before requesting a different departure.
Changing dates, flights or routing
A voluntary change may require an exchange into an eligible fare class. Confirm the ticket status, permitted routing and any restrictions before replacing the itinerary.
Retaining the premium product
A new flight may offer a different business-class seat or no Flagship Business service. Review the seat and cabin details rather than relying only on the word Business.
Fare differences and ticket reissue
Even when a change fee is waived, a higher replacement fare, taxes and disclosed agency fees may apply. A reservation update is not complete until required ticket reissue is confirmed.
Partner-operated and connecting flights
Check the operating airline on each leg, whether all flights share one ticket, and who controls the ticket exchange.
Partially used tickets
Once a journey has started, unused coupons may need after-departure repricing. Do not cancel onward segments before checking their status.
Frequently asked questions
Can I keep Flagship Business on a new flight?
Only if the replacement itinerary offers the product and eligible inventory is available; aircraft and route differences matter.
Can your agency change a ticket bought elsewhere?
Only where ticketing authority and airline rules permit. The original issuer may need to handle it.
Does a change always have a fee?
Not necessarily, but fare differences, taxes and disclosed agency charges can still apply.
