Before requesting service: BookMyReservations is operated by Shiv Travel & Tours LLC. We can review eligible reservations where authorized; some tickets must be handled by the airline or original issuing provider. Airline fare differences and any applicable agency charges should be confirmed before proceeding.
Missed Connection on One Ticket
If an inbound delay causes a missed Lufthansa connection on the same ticket, seek assistance from the operating airline. Re-accommodation can depend on the disruption and ticket arrangement.
Missed Departure or No-Show
If you arrive too late for departure, fare rules and no-show conditions may restrict changes and affect onward flights. Contact the airline or ticket issuer promptly.
Separate Tickets and Self-Transfers
A separately booked connecting flight is generally treated differently from a protected through itinerary. Confirm each ticket’s conditions rather than assuming automatic rebooking.
Protecting Your Return Flight
A missed outbound segment may affect the status of subsequent coupons. Verify the remaining itinerary before purchasing a new one-way ticket.
Business and First Class flight changes
Premium cabin availability may be limited on the next service. Ask what cabin is confirmed, whether a downgrade is involved and whether ticket reissue is required.
What Information to Prepare
Have the original flight numbers, delay notifications if any, ticket numbers, current location and next acceptable travel options ready.
Missed Lufthansa Connection: Through Ticket or Separate Tickets?
First identify whether both flights were issued on one ticket. A delayed inbound flight on a protected connection may be handled differently from a self-transfer on separate tickets. Keep the disruption notice and ticket numbers available when contacting the operating carrier or issuer.

Lufthansa No-Show and Remaining Flight Coupons
If you missed the first flight or a later segment, verify the status of every onward and return coupon before booking a replacement. The outcome depends on the ticket rules, reason for missing the flight and whether the airline or ticket issuer controls the reservation.
