Infant age and travel date matter
Airlines generally define an infant by age on the date of travel, but minimum-age and documentation requirements vary. International travel can require the infant’s own passport and destination documents.
Lap infant or separate seat
A lap-infant request and a purchased seat for a child are different products. The airline’s age, safety, restraint and seating rules determine the available options.
Existing bookings
If BookMyReservations issued the adult ticket, contact our team with the booking information and infant details so we can review the available servicing path. If another agency or airline issued the ticket, that ticketing source may need to add or ticket the infant.
International and partner itineraries
International infant pricing and ticketing can be more involved, particularly on codeshare or multi-airline itineraries. Verify the infant is correctly reflected across the itinerary before departure.
