Upgrade to Business Class
If you want to move from Economy or Premium Economy to Business Class, available options depend on the flight and eligible fare inventory. The higher cabin may require a new fare and ticket exchange.

How a Paid Flight Upgrade Can Work
A paid cabin change is different from assuming an airline will provide a complimentary upgrade. For an existing ticket, moving to a higher cabin can require the itinerary to be repriced using available fare inventory. If the change is eligible, the ticket may then need to be exchanged or reissued into the new cabin and fare.
Flight Upgrade Price and Fare Difference
There is no universal price for moving from Economy to Premium Economy, Business Class or First Class. The amount depends on the original ticket, requested cabin, route, current availability and applicable fare conditions. The itinerary and applicable pricing should be reviewed before a cabin change is confirmed.
Does a Cabin Upgrade Require a Ticket Exchange?

Miles, Upgrade Certificates and Airline Status Benefits
Airline miles, upgrade certificates, elite-status benefits, complimentary upgrades and similar loyalty-program benefits are generally controlled by the airline or loyalty program. Those requests may need to be handled directly through the applicable airline or program rather than as a paid BMR ticket change.
